Majd brings over 15 years of international experience in aviation, cybersecurity, and management, paired with a strong record of community service. He studied Accounting at the Faculty of Economics and Commerce at Damascus University in Syria and completed a Certificate in Business Management at McGill University in Montréal. He also pursued French studies at CEGEP Saint-Laurent and earned professional certifications in travel and insurance services in Canada.
Currently, Majd serves as a Fraud Analyst in Cybersecurity. His career path has included managing medical repatriation and air ambulance services, loss prevention and chargeback resolution, corporate travel management, and international roles in aviation fuel operations and accounting work. This background has given him strong skills in analysis, crisis management, and negotiation.
Beyond his professional career, Majd is deeply engaged in community life. He serves as a board member of his condominium syndicate in the Town of Mont-Royal and has volunteered with the Montreal Association for the Blind, Enfant Retour Québec, Sharing the Warmth food bank, and for the Weekend to End Women’s Cancer. He has also supported international fundraising efforts with Maggie’s Centre in the UK for individuals fighting cancer.
A proud resident of the Town of Mount Royal since 2011, Majd’s vision for T.M.R is rooted in transparency, respect, and responsible development.
Good communicator in English, French and Arabic, Majd is recognized for his problem solving skills, collaborative leadership, and ability to work across cultures and disciplines.
